First Capital Bank gives out cash in promotion

First Capital Bank on Friday conducted the first draw of the ongoing Afana Ophusha Promotion where Cross Phiri, a student from the University of Malawi won K1 million monthly prize.

During the same event, the bank conducted its Civil Servant Aweluke Promotion draw where three lucky customers won K250 000 each.

In an interview, First Capital Banks marketing manager Pachalo Chiyora said that the promotions target students and civil servants to reward and strengthen relationships within its client base.

He said: “For Afana Ophusha Promotion, students need to transact at least two times a week on our digital platform like USSD or mobile app, depositing money in their account for at least a month as well as paying school fees on our mobile app.”

Chiyora further  said for civil servants to qualify for the Civil Servant Aweluke Promotion which has a grand prize of K10 million, they should get a loan of at least K1 million.

“We are pleased with the number of entries, as many students and civil servants are participating,” he said.

Chiyora said they hope the promotions will achieve their goal of improving people’s living standards.

First Capital Bank’s parent company FMB Capital Holdings Limited is listed on the 16- counter Malawi Stock Exchanage.
